Share
This session isn’t about fluff. It’s about real-world functional strength — the kind you need for life, sport, or service.
Equipment used:
-
(2) 24kg / 53 lb kettlebells = 106 lbs total
-
Weighted vest = 45 lbs
-
Total carry load for half the distance: ~150 lbs
Workout Structure:
-
1KM total distance (farmer’s carry)
-
Vest on for the 1st and 3rd 250m intervals
-
Vest off for the 2nd and final quarter
At every 250 meters, perform:
-

-
1 double kettlebell clean
-
1 double kettlebell squat to press
-
Set kettlebells down
-
1 push-up on kettlebells
-
Shift bodyweight, stabilize, 1 single-arm row
-
1 more push-up
-
Shift and row on opposite side
Total time:
I clocked in around 20 minutes — a strong benchmark for this workout is under 15 minutes. Grip, posture, core control, and lung capacity are all tested here.
Why Quality Kettlebells Matter
When you’re doing high-stress movements — swings, cleans, presses, rows — you don’t want cheap, poorly balanced kettlebells. Inferior bells cause discomfort, compromise your grip, and throw off your technique.
That’s why I only use Tactical Bullion kettlebells:
-
Precision-balanced for flow and control
-
E-coated for durability — no chipping, no rust
-
Aggressive grip texture for confident handling under sweat
-
Wide, open windows for proper alignment and performance
-
Available from 4kg all the way up to 204kg — the largest kettlebell lineup in the world
